Das Heimliche und das Unheimliche, das Trennende und das Einende. Im Wald, unter Wasser und in den eigenen vier Wänden stellen sich Fragen der Identität und der Inszenierung im Privaten und in der Öffentlichkeit. Die sechs Filme in diesem Programm zählen zu jenen Arbeiten, die uns nicht mehr aus den Köpfen gegangen sind. Und sie stammen von Filmschaffenden, deren Werke und Haltung das Festival in den vergangenen Jahren mitgeprägt haben. Ein Stelldichein teils preisgekrönter Filme und international gefeierter KünstlerInnen also. Oder kurz gesagt: die, die wir lieben. (de)

The concealed and the uncanny, as Freud would have it, that which separates and that which unites. Questions of identity and dramatizations in private and public spheres are raised in the woods, underwater, and in the privacy of one’s own home. The six films featured in this program are among the works we just couldn’t get out of our heads. And they were created by filmmakers whose output and attitudes have helped shape the festival in the past. A gathering of award-winning films and internationally celebrated artists.
