Portrait of Tao is the indie-pop project of Fabian Holoubek, a musician and songwriter with over two decades of stage experience. As a bassist, he played alongside renowned Austrian artists such as OSKA, Sakura, Ina Regen, and Mathea. The multi-instrumentalist, who grew up in Wiener Neustadt, was significantly influenced by his parents and his three siblings, all of whom are musicians. Inspired by JJ Cale, the melancholy of Nick Drake, and the chill vibes of The Eels, Portrait of Tao creates a gentle indie soundscape with playfully dreamy melodies. Portrait of Tao will celebrate his debut album release on February 14th at Kramladen.
