Lick&Listen#8 Porn Films with Live Musi

Lick&Listen selects silent ethical-porn films. 

The silent film era lasted from 1894 to 1929. In silent films for entertainment, the dialogue is transmitted through muted gestures, mime and title cards which contain a written indication of the plot or key dialogue. 

The aim of this monthly event series is to normalize porn through contemporary screenings of silent alternative pornography (Queer, Fun, Feminist, Gay, Kinki, or Fetish among others) in public spaces. During silent ethical porn films, musicians will either play improvise or sheet music to accompany the films.
