ALPHA STEPPA
At the head of the label Steppas Records, is one of the members of the collective Dub Dynasty. Fruit of the collaboration with his father and his aunt (Alpha & Omega). Ben Alpha aka Alpha Steppa grew up surrounded by dubplates in sound system culture. Today a recognized and renowned producer, he links the music that marked his childhood to the new generation of bass music to which he belongs.

The “dubtrack to dubworld, from dubby roots to worl dub”. Alpha Steppa has collaborated with various notable reggae artists, including Lee “Scratch” Perry, Gregory Isaacs and Linval Thompson. Alpha Steppa has developed a sound which looks forward while building on the lineage which precedes it, informed by Dub Musiq as a UK producer with a rich roots reggae heritage. Always injected into a dubstep framework – and a serious player in the soundsystem world.
