Die Vienna–based Band NEPS schreibt Songs über das Alltägliche. Freundschaft, Arbeit, Frust und Kummer - wohl Themen, die alle beschäftigen. So trivial das Leben auch manchmal erscheinen mag, wenn man weiß, wo man hinschauen muss, findet man oft etwas Spannendes. Mit dieser Methode schafft das Indie-Punk Trio NEPS eingängige Tracks mit Ohrwurmgarantie. Ihre Musik ist der perfekte gitarrengeladene Soundtrack des Alltags. 
Mit Radio-Airplay in ganz Europa (FM4, 88.6, Deutschlandfunk, ByteFM, Radio Résonance uvm.) und einem TV-Auftritt in der ORF-Morgenshow „Guten Morgen Österreich” sind NEPS auch in der Medienlandschaft längst keine Unbekannten. Die Single »Melody« landete letzten Herbst auf Platz 2 der Austrian Indie Charts.
 
Nach Shows in zahlreichen Clubs und Open Airs in Ostösterreich, in Hamburg und auf einem Showcase Festival in Bulgarien sind NEPS nicht mehr von der Bühnen wegzudenken. Denn das energiegeladene Liveset fußt auf drei Säulen: dreckige Gitarrenwände, ein knallender Bass und laute Drums - irgendwo zwischen cute und grungy. 
Am 30. Oktober feiern wir gemeinsam mit der Band das lang ersehnte Debütalbum »Common Life« bei einem Release-Konzert im Wiener Chelsea. Die großartige Band Lion Season eröffnet den Abend und es werden außerdem spannende Gastmusiker:innen erwartet! Vor allem aber erwartet euch feinster Gitarrensound - live und auf frisch gepresstem Vinyl.

LION SEASON
Fast-paced post-punk indie songs rooted in the sound of the 2000s, blended with the modern Brit-indie/alternative genre. A fusion of soft and heavy. Equally danceable as perfect for swaying your lighters in the air.
Lion Season was formed in 2018 by childhood friends. After the formative years, the indie trio has been in its current lineup since 2020. The band, equipped with professional infrastructure, consists of Adriana Roth (vocals/bass), Luka Swatschina (guitar), and Matthias Stehle (drums).
In 2021, they started collaborating with "Tape Capitol Music," leading to the cassette release of their EP "Relationships" in winter 2022. In 2023, they continued their steady growth, performing successful concerts over the course of a tour through Austria, drawing large crowds at festivals, selling out shows in Vienna, and releasing a "feel-good" indie summer hit. In December 2023 "Looking Searching," will be released. This track enriches the group's sound palette, building anticipation for their upcoming LP. The upcoming releases in 2024 will undoubtedly prove why this band is a newcomer in the Austrian
music scene that cannot be ignored.
