Mother’s Cake: A Manifesto of Raw Renewal – WE R ALL GONNA DIE

There are bands that simply manage their legacy. And then there is Mother’s Cake. For this band, stagnation is not merely a state of being—it is an act of artistic betrayal. To look at Mother’s Cake’s discography is not to see a mere succession of albums, but a constant metamorphosis—a relentless struggle to find the truth within the sound.

Following the success of *Ultra Bliss* (Embassy of Music), the easy choice would have been to preserve the winning formula established there—but that is simply not in the band’s DNA. Theirs is a history written in blood and sweat. Okay, perhaps that’s a bit dramatic, but the path Mother’s Cake has traveled since their inception resembles a journey through a storm. From the early days working with Ikey Owens (The Mars Volta, Jack White) on their debut *Creation's Finest* to commanding the world’s great stages alongside legends like Deftones, Iggy Pop, Limp Bizkit, Alice in Chains, and Deep Purple. They have shaken the foundations of arenas across the globe, played sold-out shows across Australia, Mexico, and South Africa, and driven audiences in India into a state of ecstasy.

This dedication has been rewarded not only with millions of streams and global chart placements, but also by the inclusion of their songs in video games, TV series, and feature films. Yet, this history is no reason to rest on their laurels—it serves as the foundation for an even more radical new departure. The Punk Code—or a return to the source of energy. *WE R ALL GONNA DIE* (Esis3 RECORDS), the band’s sixth studio album, set for release on October 9, 2026, stands as the most honest testament yet from a band that no longer tolerates compromise. The production has been stripped of all excess; the sound is now uncompromisingly punk—raw and driving. There is no longer any hiding behind slick studio wizardry or calculated harmonies—just a pure, unfiltered attack. The lead single, "We Are All Gonna Die" (out May 7, 2026), is more than just a preview; it is a manifesto. It proves that Mothers Cake are casting off the shackles of their past to unleash a new, almost painful intensity. Those looking for the sound of yesterday will look in vain; instead, they are taken on a new journey. This album is no mere carbon copy; it is more like ADHD set to music. It is the sound of a band that has realized that sometimes you have to tear everything down to be truly free.

Modula Nation

Modula Nation is a distinctive fusion of experimental-psychedelic-space rock combined with heavy industrial riffs, complex rhythms and tight grooves. The Group was formed in Graz and is one of the most promising rock bands of the Austrian underground scene.

The progressive rock quartet from Graz delivers pulsating space rock odysseys that take their audience on a psychedelic journey into various musical worlds.

Modula Nation has had the honour to share the stage with legendary artists such as: Molotov, Tito & Tarantula, Mother's Cake, KMFDM and Skinny Puppy among others.

The project sprouted out of previous musical combos of singer, multi-instrumentalist Heinz Wallner and fellow bassist and long time collaborator Ricardo Paz.

Their friendship and love for a wide range of musical genres combined with brainstorming all night jam sessions aided to develop the bands individual musical sound.

Further band members who complete Modula Nation's musical vision are Philipp Pluhar on drums and electronics as well as Markus Steinrück on guitars.

The recording and production phase of Modula Nation's long awaited debut album titled "THE RIFT" is finally complete. The album was released via Tonzonen Records (GER) on July 24th 2026.
