KAYOMI bringt Rockmusik auf ein Level, das sich nur durch die Kontraste fassen lässt: Zu harmonisch ist das Chaos der fünf Instrumente. Weil sich E-Flöte und Saxophon so gut verstehen, als würden sie sich von klein auf kennen. Weil Bass und Schlagzeug einen treibenden Rhythmus erzeugen, der vom Leadgesang weitergetragen wird. So schaffen KAYOMI nicht nur Soundsphären zum individuellen Versinken, sondern lassen das Publikum auch an ihrer Fahrt teilhaben. Fast als säße man mit ihnen im Auto. Since she was little, the now 22-year-old singer/songwriter has always been fascinated by words. Having great music and records around all the time, thanks to her mum, she started writing songs, falling in love with poetry and teaching herself how to play the guitar at a very young age. Her music was the one thing she didn’t have to question, the one thing that came without a warning yet was always welcome.
She released her first two concept singles “Hide” and “Seek” in 2019, as part of a collaboration, showing that she’s not shying away from experimenting with different genres. Filiah is a project dedicated to the love of the mind. It stands for finding strength and confidence in owning your vulnerabilities and fears. Most of all, it’s about unapologetically being yourself and speaking your truth, which the singer does relentlessly in each and every song.
