GIÖBIA (IT)
The mystical day 60s rock met neopsychedelic rock mixing up to the point of losing consciousness of their own essence, that’s when Giöbia’s acid psychedelic rock was born, in an overwhelming and incessant soundtrack with an unmistakable Italian taste.
COUCOU BABE
Coucou Babe is a dreamy pop duo from Nashville Tennessee and Vienna, Austria, who makes music that they self-describe as “dreamy tunes to dance to alone in your room.” Look no further than their first single “High Again”, an accurate track that sounds like if Beach House made a dreamy Christmas song. The track isn’t holiday themed but it captures that hopeful and warm feeling that some of the best (and most tolerable) of that genre do in an uplifting and lush manner.
DOWSER
If 60s psychedelic rock and 90s shoegaze had a disastrous child in 2023, it would be called Dowser. The band's characteristic sound was created in Rouven Stoll's bedrooms, where he wrote and recorded the atmospherically charged songs. Together with drummer Tristan Bath (Missing Organs, Black Fjords), bassist Tommy Moonshine (Tommy Moonshine) and guitarist Moriz Büsing (Sluff), the songs are brought to the stage and to the people with the appropriate intensity. After three years of shows as a “powerhouse”, the band presents new material with a fresh line-up.
