CRISPIES, gegründet als The Crispies, startete als wilde Teenage-Garage Punk-Band. Mit der Single Bad Blood gelang ihnen schon beim Debüt ein veritabler Szene-Hit, das Album Death Row Kids mit seinen zehn Einefetzersongs (Kurier) war eines der exzessivsten Rock-Alben 2016. Auf dem Nachfolger Fake Leather wurde 2018 die Intensität zeitweise etwas heruntergefahren, Rock’n’Roll-Klischees gingen, Rap-, R’n’B- und elektronische Einflüsse kamen. Die auf Fake Leather zelebrierte Verschmelzung von analogen und digitalen Formen der Musikproduktion charakterisiert Crispies heute noch. Dazu zieht sich auch textlich ein roter Faden durch ihr gesamtes Schaffen: eine bei aller Unzufriedenheit etwas lethargische Gleichgültigkeit dem eigenen Schicksal gegenüber. Crispies sind neben Frontmann Tino Romana (Vocals) Michael Tauschmann (Gitarre), Adriana Roth (Bass) und Lukas Hasi Hasitschka (Schlagzeug).

PURE CHLORINE - an unmistakable, smoky voice with distinctive characteristics that not only reflect in the sound but also in the iconic visual style of the artist. Hydrogen blonde hair meets leather jackets. Electronic beats collide with heavy guitar riffs. Pop songs with a "fuck you" attitude towards the stigma of mental illnesses and the perpetual silence surrounding them. Loud, angry, and unfiltered, Pure Chlorine reflects the emotions of Generation Z. The single "Hijacked" (2022) quickly demonstrates its impact with placements on Spotify editorial playlists such as "Fresh Finds Rock," "Fierce Femmes," and "New Noise." 
Live performances, including appearances at events like Donauinselfest in Vienna, Glacis Open Air in Magdeburg, and Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, make 2022 a successful year. In 2023, new songs emerge: With "The Pure Chlorine Problem" (EP, Release: June 2023), the artist becomes even more personal, describing the struggle against oneself and her sometimes pathological coping mechanisms to deal with the pressure.
