Nastia’s ascendency to her current status has been nothing short of an unexpected whirlwind of success. The DJ, promoter, label owner and producer was born in a tiny village in Ukraine, and forged her own path to widespread recognition out of her sheer love for music without any formal training.

 

After working on Propaganda, the self taught DJ launched Nechto, a dark and experimental label with the purpose of pushing Ukrainian artists and sharing the culture of Ukraine worldwide. 

 

The former BBC Radio 1 resident is also a cofounder of Strichka festival in Kyiv in collaboration with Closer. She also runs conceptual audio and visual projects such as Scary Beautiful and hosts her own True Talk interview series featuring other artists. The Kyiv based DJ constantly supports the LGBTQ+ community by frequently playing queer parties as her SHEIS alter ego.
