Ryan O'Reilly, from Winchester, UK, is a songwriter whose Irish parentage and English upbringing combine to create a passionate storyteller. A meandering musical journey began with performing at open-mic nights in Toronto as a teenager, studying poetry in Dublin and making a living street performing on London’s Portobello Road. Gaining experience and fans from touring extensively across Europe and North America playing shows with This Is The Kit, Lissie, Alice Merton, joining acts like Arkells, Tift Merritt, Anaïs Mitchell on stage to perform and headlining a unique tour of medieval churches across Europe with Canadian trio The O'Pears. The debut album 'The Northern Line' was released on Qatar’s first record label, DNA Records and featured the singles 'The One', 'November' and 'Sometimes Things Just Happen' which entered German airplay charts.
