Gegründet in Paris, veröffentlichte JE T'AIME ihre Debüt-Single "The Sound" im Frühjahr 2018. Die positive Resonanz des Publikums drängte das Trio zum Schreiben ihres ersten Werkes. Da das Projekt ein Echo auf die große Epoche der Manchester Fabrik ist, zog sich die Gruppe im Sommer an die bretonischen Küste zurück und verband schlaflose Nächte mit Akustikforschung. Am Ende wurden 11 Titel geschrieben und finalisiert, eine Mischung aus „Mancunian“ Post-Punk verknüpft mit Cold Wave und erhellt durch Spuren der Smiths.
Das Album erschien im Mai 2019 bei Manic Depression und Icy Cold Records.

Formed in Paris, JE T’AIME released their debut single “The Sound” in the Spring of 2018. Following the enthusiastic public reception of this first recording, the band chose a secluded spot on the coast of Brittany to focus on a more major work. Weeks of sleepless summer nights in the pursuit of new sounds result in the creation of eleven new tracks: the sound a post-punk cold wave hybrid, reminiscent of the great Mancunian Factory era and suffused with hints of the Smiths. The album was released in May 2019 with Manic Depression and Icy Cold Records.

Formé à Paris, JE T'AIME sort en 2018 son premier single post-punk, "The Sound". L'accueil positif du public pousse le trio vers l'écriture de leur premier opus. Si le projet fait écho à la grande
époque Factory de Manchester, c'est sur les côtes bretonnes que le groupe s'isole durant l'été, enchaînant nuits blanches et recherches soniques. Au final, ce sont onze titres qui sont écrits et finalisés, mélange de post-punk "Mancunien" mâtiné d'une cold wave illuminée aux relents "Smithiens". L'album est sorti en mai 2019 chez Manic Depression et Icy Cold Records.
