Die rote Fahne wird durch Berlin getragen, mitten auf der Straße. Ein Auto hupt, sonst passiert nichts. Und doch, es sind diese Zwischentöne jenseits der Bilderautobahn 1968, die der Bewegung ihre Farbe und Richtung gegeben haben. Einer Bewegung, die ein anderes Leben gesucht hat, die Widerstand gegen die Staatsräson gepflegt hat, die von anderen Möglichkeitsräumen nicht nur geträumt hat, geprägt vom Bewusstsein, dass es nichts Neues geben kann, bevor die Geschichte nicht ganz hinterfragt wird. Kein Warten auf Godot. Losrennen. We need to disagree. Yes, we do! (mmh)

"Home Is Where I Want To Change Things"

A red flag is carried through the city of Berlin, in the middle of the street. A lonesome car horn can be heard; nothing else is happening. And yet it is these intermittent sounds, a far cry from the caravan of images from 1968, that gave the movement its colors and direction. A movement that sought a different kind of life, that opposed state philosophy, that dreamt of other spheres of possibility and tried to put those dreams into action—shaped by an awareness that nothing new could emerge without first thoroughly questioning history itself. Don’t wait for Godot. Just run. We need to disagree. Yes, we do! (mmh)
